These terms are the agreement between you and [Operator name], which runs Ola. They cover the app and this website. Please read them along with our privacy policy.
The short version
- You must be 12 or older, and honest about your age.
- Treat people with respect. No harassment, sexual content, scams, or hate.
- Professionals on Ola are independent. We connect you; we don't provide their services.
- Ola is not for emergencies. If you're in danger, call 115 or 123.
- Plans are bought through Cafe Bazaar or Myket and don't renew on their own.
1Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using Ola, you agree to these terms and to our community rules. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
2Who can use Ola
- You must be at least 12 years old. If you're under 18, use Ola with the knowledge of a parent or guardian.
- You need an Iranian mobile number that belongs to you. One person, one account.
- Give your real birth date. It decides which age group you're in, and it can't be changed later.
- You can't use Ola if we've banned you before.
- Keep your phone and sign-in code to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
3What Ola is, and isn't
Ola helps you meet people who share your interests and find teachers, coaches, psychologists, and other professionals. It is not a dating or marriage service.
Professionals on Ola are independent people. We don't employ them, and we don't provide teaching, therapy, medical, legal, or financial services ourselves. A blue tick means our team has checked the certificates or licence the person sent us. It is not a guarantee of the quality of their work.
4Community rules
These apply in profiles, photos, stories, chats, and workspaces. Don't:
- Harass, threaten, bully, or keep messaging someone who has said no or stopped replying.
- Post or send sexual content, or pursue anyone romantically or sexually when they are here for something else. Any sexual contact with someone under 18 is reported to the authorities.
- Post hate speech, or content that attacks people for who they are.
- Scam people, ask for money under false pretences, or sell illegal goods or services.
- Pretend to be someone else, use another person's photos, or fake a certificate or licence.
- Share someone's private information, photos, or messages without their permission.
- Spam, advertise unrelated products, or use bots or scripts.
- Try to get around a block, a ban, or an age group.
- Break the law of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
If someone breaks these rules, block and report them. Blocking is immediate and the other person isn't told.
5Offering your skills
Anyone can list a skill or service on Ola, on any plan. When you do:
- Describe what you offer honestly, including whether you work online or in person.
- Only send certificates and licences that are genuinely yours.
- Psychologists, counsellors, and health professionals must hold a valid licence for the work they offer (for example, from the Psychology and Counselling Organization of Iran) and must stay within it. Don't offer diagnosis or treatment you aren't licensed for.
- Keep a professional relationship with the people who contact you. Be especially careful with anyone under 18.
- Fees and payments are between you and the person you work with. Ola doesn't handle that money. Receipts in a workspace are records only.
6Your content
You own what you post. You give us permission to store it, show it to the people you share it with, and process it as needed to run Ola. This permission ends when the content is deleted, except for messages already delivered to others, which stay in their chats.
We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law. We don't check uploads before they appear; we review what people report.
7Plans and payments
- Ola is free to use. Basic and Pro add features, and the app shows what each one includes and costs before you buy.
- Plans are bought inside the app through Cafe Bazaar or Myket, and their terms apply to the payment. Plans don't renew automatically.
- Refunds follow the store's policy. Ask us if something went wrong with a purchase.
- Daily allowances, such as messages to new people, searches, and teacher requests, reset each day. An allowance you used isn't returned if the other person doesn't reply.
- If a plan ends, its extra features stop. Workspaces you made with Pro become read-only.
8When rules are broken
Depending on how serious it is, we may remove content, warn you, suspend your account for 1 to 30 days, or ban it permanently. We usually tell you why. If you think we got it wrong, send a ticket from Settings → Help & support (even a suspended or banned account can send one after entering its sign-in code), or write to [support@your-domain].
A banned person can't come back with a new account on the same number. Our privacy policy explains the record we keep for this.
9Closing your account
You can close your account at any time in Settings. You have 14 days to change your mind by signing in again. After that, it's deleted as described in the privacy policy. A plan you paid for isn't refunded when you close your account.
10Responsibility
You're responsible for how you deal with people you meet through Ola, online and in person. Meet in public places, and tell someone you trust where you'll be. Ola is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for what other people say or do, or for services professionals provide.
11Changes, law, contact
We may update these terms. If a change is important, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Ola after that, you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
